A temporary kart track was built outside Clube Náutico at Farol de São Thomé for the regional championship opener on 15 January 2012. About 30 drivers contested four classes; the street course did not remain after the event.

Summer kart race at Farol
Farol de São Thomé hosted its first documented kart round on 15 January 2012. The temporary course was assembled overnight in public streets outside Clube Náutico do Farol.
Documented event
About 30 drivers from Campos, Macaé and Espírito Santo competed in V4A, V4B, Força Livre and F400 as part of the Verão da Família programme.
Temporary layout
Streets closed for the race and grandstands accommodated spectators. This was never a permanent kart track, and nothing indicates that the circuit survived the event.
