Detailed guide
A 400m outdoor attraction in Abbotsford
Castle Fun Park has a 400-metre outdoor kart track alongside its arcade, adventure golf and other family attractions. Public rides are five-minute sessions in which the karts leave the grid together and return to the pit as a group.
The current venue page corrects the old directory description, which incorrectly called this an indoor circuit. Wet or icy conditions can reduce kart speed or interrupt the published schedule.
Who can ride
- Single-kart drivers: at least 10 years old and 54 inches tall.
- Double-kart drivers: at least 16 years old and 54 inches tall.
- Passengers: at least three years old and accompanied by a driver over 16.
- Safety: every rider needs a completed waiver and must wear a helmet.
Playcards, private hire and facilities
Public kart rides are paid through the park's reloadable Playcard system rather than a timed race reservation. The track can also be hired privately for 30 or 60 minutes when it is closed to the public; those bookings go through the venue's enquiry team.
Before you travel
- Check kart hours: the kart page and general FAQ currently publish different weekday schedules.
- Allow for weather: hours and speeds may change without notice in wet or icy conditions.
- Complete the waiver: the official page links to an advance online form.
- Plan food correctly: concessions are available, but outside food and drink are not permitted.
