Multi-level electric karting in south Calgary
SPEEDERS Calgary Chinook is an all-weather indoor venue with multi-level electric-kart racing and several speed classes. Online reservations are recommended, while walk-ins use the remaining first-come availability.
Current product pages distinguish family and adult eligibility rather than offering one unrestricted kart category. Helmets are included and every participant completes a waiver.
Current karting categories
- Family racing: the published minimum height is 4ft 7in, approximately 140cm.
- Adult racing: the experience page uses a 5ft 1in minimum and the FAQ starts the adult category at age 15.
- Separate racing: juniors and adults ordinarily race separately, with mixed access limited to designated Family Race Packages.
- Final fit: every driver must close the seat belt securely and operate the kart safely; a reception test kart is available.
More than karting
The Chinook centre also advertises an arcade, cyberpunk laser tag, 12-hole racing-themed blacklight mini-golf, duckpin bowling, gamified axe throwing and darts, plus food, parties and company events. Eligibility differs by activity.
