The Track Layout
The circuit at Top Karting is designed for pure driving pleasure.
- Surface: Unlike many indoor tracks that use slippery concrete, this track features poured asphalt. This provides superior traction, allowing you to attack corners with confidence and carry more speed.
- Layout: The 1/4 mile layout is wide and fast, featuring a mix of long acceleration zones and technical chicanes.
- Condition: Being indoors and heated, the track offers consistent "dry" race conditions even in the middle of a Canadian winter.
The Karts
Top Karting runs a fleet of high-performance European karts.
- Adult Karts (Sodi RT8): These 9HP gas-powered machines are the gold standard for rental karting. Capable of speeds up to 70 kph (43 mph), they feature adjustable pedals, heavy-duty protective bumpers, and responsive steering.
- Junior Karts: Smaller, lighter karts designed specifically for children (Ages 8-12). These are speed-restricted to ensure safety while still providing a genuine racing experience for younger drivers.
