Adventure Park at Kartworld is an outdoor karting and activity venue in Watergrasshill, County Cork, with an 850m International circuit for drivers aged 16 or older and a more technical 650m National track for junior, family and adult sessions. Two outdoor kart tracks in Watergrasshill
Adventure Park at Kartworld has operated in County Cork since 1994. The floodlit International circuit is the faster layout, while the National circuit is designed for junior, family and mixed-age karting.
Choose the correct circuit
- International: the 850m track has longer straights and is used by drivers aged 16 or older.
- National: the 650m layout has more bends and serves children, families and adults.
- Junior sessions: children aged eight to 15 can drive the National track.
- Twin karts: an adult can drive with a child passenger from age four, subject to a safe fit.
Formats and preparation
- Session length: current public products provide either 30 or 60 minutes of racing.
- Grand Prix: groups of at least 14 can arrange exclusive track use, warm-up, racing, lap analysis and trophies.
- Equipment: staff provide the safety briefing, overalls, gloves and helmet before track access.
- Performance: the operator advertises karts capable of up to 80km/h on the appropriate format.
Hours, facilities and events
- Opening pattern: Wednesday–Friday is 09:00–21:00 and weekends are 09:00–19:00; Monday and Tuesday are closed.
- Evenings: activities after 18:00 need to be arranged in advance.
- Facilities: parking, the Pit-Stop café or restaurant, trackside viewing and conference space support longer visits.
- Groups: birthdays, schools, sports teams, corporate days, stag and hen groups and private hire are handled directly.
