Indoor karting at Marina Commercial Park
National Kart Centre Cork runs indoor rental karting, junior sessions and organised races from Centre Park Road. The venue also offers simulator sessions, making it suitable for casual visits, groups and weather-independent activities.
Driver categories and karts
- Adults: standard karting starts at age 15 with a minimum height of 5ft 4in.
- Juniors: junior karting starts at age eight with a minimum height of 4ft 5in.
- Adult fleet: TBKarts R25 karts use adjustable seats and pedals, Honda GX270 engines and automatic gearboxes.
- Junior fleet: Mini R13 karts use Honda GX160 engines, roll bars and three-point belts.
Sessions and groups
- Timed sessions: adult products are published in 20, 30, 45 and 60-minute formats.
- Junior session: the current junior product provides 20 minutes of driving.
- Grand Prix: group race formats include qualifying and finals, with minimum group sizes.
- Simulator: Cork also operates F1-style sim rigs separately from the kart track.
