The standards that apply to comments, blog posts, reviews, photographs, videos and other content contributed by users.
These terms apply whenever you submit, upload, link, publish or communicate content through KartDirectory.Racing. They supplement the Website Terms.
Community publishing must not launch until the required online-safety assessments, reporting and complaints processes are operational.
User content includes comments, reviews, ratings, posts, guides, profile text, messages intended for publication, photographs, audio, video, links, captions and listing additions. Content can be public and searchable worldwide.
Be honest, relevant and respectful. Do not submit illegal content; threats or encouragement of violence; harassment or hate; child sexual abuse material; terrorist content; fraud or scams; privacy violations; doxxing; unlawful discrimination; malicious code; spam; undisclosed paid promotion; dangerous impersonation; or instructions intended to facilitate serious wrongdoing.
Do not encourage unsafe driving, bypassing venue safety controls, unlawful road use or participation contrary to age, health or equipment requirements. Clearly distinguish personal experience from professional or official safety guidance.
You keep ownership of your content. You confirm that you created it or hold all rights and permissions needed to publish it, including music, footage, trademarks and permissions from identifiable people. Do not upload confidential information or another person’s personal data without a lawful basis.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, caption, translate, distribute, display and promote your content for operating and promoting KartDirectory.Racing. The licence lasts while content is published and for reasonable backups, evidence, legal compliance and material already shared with others.
We may use human and automated review to detect, label, restrict, reject or remove content and to suspend accounts. We will apply published rules consistently and keep records where required. We do not promise to pre-screen every contribution.
We will take proportionate steps required by applicable online-safety law, including acting swiftly when we become aware of illegal content. Where law requires, we may preserve and report content and account information to the appropriate authority. Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services.
Users and affected people must be able to report content they believe is illegal or contrary to these rules without creating an account. Reports should identify the content, reason and relevant context. A dedicated reporting route must be operational before user publishing launches.
Where applicable, users may challenge a content or account decision and complain if we fail to act on a report. We will review complaints fairly, communicate the outcome and restore content or access where a decision was wrong. The production process and timescales must be published before launch.
Disclose sponsorships, gifts, affiliate links and other material relationships clearly. Businesses must not create fake reviews, suppress genuine criticism through misuse of reporting, or pose as independent customers.
You may request deletion through account tools or contact us. We may retain limited copies where necessary for legal obligations, safety, complaints, fraud prevention, backups or the rights of others. Search-engine copies may take time to disappear.
