Where exactly is it?

It is located at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, right off State Highway 1 (Waikato Expressway). - From Auckland: Approx. 45-60 minutes south. - From Hamilton: Approx. 30-40 minutes north.

What are the minimum requirements?

- Single Karts: Driver must be at least 10 years old AND 140cm tall. - Tandem Karts: Driver must be 16+ (and 140cm+). Passenger must be at least 6 years old AND 120cm tall. Note: Height is strictly enforced for safety.

Do I need a driver's licence?

No. You do not need a government driving licence for the Go-Karts. (However, you do need a licence if you are doing the V8 Muscle Car experience on the main track).

Is it open every day? Usually Wednesday to Sunday.

- Weekdays: 10:00 AM – 4:45 PM (Closed Mon/Tue). - Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 6:15 PM. Always check the website as they may close for major private race events.

Do I need to book?

Yes, booking online is highly recommended. Walk-ins are accepted but you might face long wait times, especially on weekends or school holidays.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. No jandals (flip-flops) or bare feet. Comfortable clothing is advised.
