Venue-specific questions and answers for this circuit.

No. The popular outdoor rental track Bay Karts (formerly at Titoki Place) permanently closed in July 2024. Do not drive there expecting to race; the track is gone.

Since Bay Karts closed, there are no petrol go-kart rentals in Tauranga or Mt Maunganui. Your nearest options are: - Rotorua: Raceline Karting (Off Road NZ) is a 50-minute drive south. This is a world-class outdoor track. - Hamilton: Hampton Downs is about 1 hour 15 minutes west.

BayActive (at Baypark, Mt Maunganui) offers Electric Drift Trikes and Blokarts (wind-powered karts), but they do not have traditional petrol go-karts. It is a fun alternative if you just want to slide around, but it is not "kart racing" in the traditional sense.

It is at 154 Alley Road, Te Puke. Directions: Turn off SH2 into Manoeka Road, then Quarry Road, then Alley Road.
