Outdoor karting at Silverstone

Kart Silverstone is a dedicated outdoor karting complex within the Silverstone estate. The operator advertises five circuit configurations, up to 25 karts on track, maximum speeds of 55mph and karts with engine capacities up to 390cc, alongside rental, coaching, championship and owner-driver activity.

Bambino and junior driving

  • Bambino ages 6-7: a mandatory 45-minute induction introduces handling and safety on the 447m Village circuit.
  • Bambino practice: certificate holders can use 15-minute open-lap sessions, with a published 115cm minimum.
  • Junior ages 8-15: Village-circuit choices include optional induction, 15-minute open laps, a 25-minute sprint and solo coaching.
  • Junior sprint: the race format combines five minutes of qualifying with a 20-minute race and podium presentation.

Adult and specialist formats

  • Adult threshold: adult products start at age 14 and publish a 142cm minimum.
  • International circuit: current adult practice, Silverstone 30, Silverstone 60 and coaching use the 932m layout.
  • Race formats: Silverstone 30 has ten minutes of qualifying and a 30-minute race; Silverstone 60 extends the race to an hour.
  • Progression: separate academy, rental championship and owner-driver test-day programmes require their own dates and eligibility checks.

Before travelling

  • Match the product: age, height, circuit, experience level and prior induction requirements differ between sessions.
  • Included essentials: mandatory balaclavas and gloves are included with public bookings.
  • Check the live schedule: availability varies around programmes, events and owner-driver days inside the wider Silverstone site.
  • No directory booking: this profile contains no external Silverstone ticket, account or checkout button.
