Larkhall Circuit International is an established Scottish kart venue expanded to a current lap length of 1,140 metres. The circuit hosts rental karting, owner-driver activity, the West of Scotland Kart Club and national-level race meetings.
Its role as both a public and competition venue means access changes with the calendar. Visitors should select a defined rental product or confirm owner-driver practice rather than assuming the circuit is open for casual driving all day.
Rental products and eligibility
- Adult arrive-and-drive: drivers must be at least 14 years old and 160cm tall.
- Adult format: the standard current product uses two 15-minute sessions in 390cc TB rental karts.
- R-MAX progression: drivers aged 14 or over need previous experience and a qualifying lap below the published 56-second threshold.
- Younger and family drivers: separate products include options for ages 7–13 and family groups, subject to their current rules.
Facilities and supplied equipment
Rental drivers are supplied with a suit, balaclava, helmet, gloves and kart. The venue also provides a café, indoor and outdoor viewing areas, paddock space and pit bays, making it practical for spectators and longer race-day visits.
