About Stretton Circuit
Stretton Circuit is widely regarded as one of the premier outdoor rental tracks in the East Midlands. Located next to Leicester Airport, it makes use of the open landscape to provide a massive 950m circuit. Unlike tight indoor tracks, Stretton is about maintaining high average speeds. It features sweeping corners and a long straight where the Twin-Engine karts can really stretch their legs. The venue balances "Arrive & Drive" rental fun with serious owner-driver racing (Stretton Sprint Series), meaning the track surface is rubbered-in and grippy.

The Racing Experience
- The Track: The 950m layout is fast. The signature is the smooth flow—you don't just point and shoot; you have to carry momentum. The "famous hairpin" requires patience on the brakes.
- Viewing: A unique feature is the Pit Lane Viewing Area, which puts spectators right in the middle of the action, sandwiched between the track and the pits.
- The Karts:
- Adults (16+): Biz Twin-Engine 320cc. These "Pro Karts" have two engines on the back. They offer great torque out of corners and are heavier than standard karts, giving them a planted feel.
- Juniors (10-15): 200cc Single Engine karts. These are still fast but lighter and easier to steer.
- Twin Seaters: Stretton is one of the few tracks with 2-Seater Karts, allowing adults to drive younger kids (under 8) or those with disabilities around the track for a passenger experience.
Owner-Driver Culture
- Stretton Sprint Series: The venue hosts its own championship for people who own karts. If you visit on a race weekend, you might see high-spec rotax karts flying around. Always check the calendar to ensure rental sessions are running.
