A 450-metre petrol circuit in Cambuslang

TeamSport Glasgow Cambuslang runs one of Scotland's longer indoor kart tracks, combining tight corners, flowing straights and overtaking opportunities over 450 metres. The fleet uses petrol-powered Biz Evo3XP adult karts and speed-controlled Biz Evo junior karts.

The operator divides products by driver age and format. Every participant checks in, receives a briefing and uses supplied racewear before joining the circuit.

Driver categories and equipment

• Cadets: karting starts from age eight with a minimum 25-inch inside-leg measurement.
• Junior progression: ages 13–15 can use the relevant junior or faster category when they meet the product's 29-inch adult-kart measurement.
• Supervision: visitors under 16 must remain accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
• Supplied kit: the venue provides a race suit, gloves and helmet; drivers need full-foot shoes and a balaclava.

Laser combat and spectator facilities

Laser combat starts from age six and provides a separate activity for mixed groups. Dedicated spectator areas allow non-drivers to watch free of charge, while the bar and kitchen provide a place to wait between sessions and review lap times.

Before you visit

• Arrive early: the operator asks drivers to arrive 40 minutes before their booked drive time.
• Measure accurately: age alone does not replace the 25- or 29-inch inside-leg requirement for the chosen kart.
• Pre-book: advance booking is strongly recommended because popular sessions can reach capacity.
• Use the corrected fact: the current official circuit length is 450 metres, not the outdated 420-metre figure previously stored here.
