Teesside Karting operates several outdoor configurations at the Middlesbrough motorsport complex. The circuit used for a session depends on the product, attendance and wider track programme rather than ordinary opening hours alone.

Public hire karting

• Adult sessions: adult-only arrive-and-drive starts at age 16 and includes timed formats as well as ordinary track time.
• Family sessions: drivers aged eight to 15 use junior karts alongside eligible adults in a controlled family format.
• Two-seat rides: a dedicated adult-and-child experience gives younger passengers from age five an introduction to the circuit.
• Circuit allocation: weekend arrive-and-drive normally uses the Clubman layout, while weekday sessions may use Clubman or National.

Races, tuition and owner-drivers

• Iron Man racing: endurance products use a 40-minute race on the National circuit, with International formats available for qualifying groups.
• Hire championships: the NRG series provides organised sprint competition beyond casual public sessions.
• Driver development: foundation tuition and more advanced race-craft lessons support both new and experienced drivers.
• Owner-driver access: scheduled testing and race activity are available for suitable privately owned karts under separate rules.

• Check eligibility: age, equipment, group size and supervision rules differ between family, adult, race and owner-driver products.
