The ultimate destination for karting enthusiasts in Glasgow & The West.

The West of Scotland is the undisputed powerhouse of the country's karting scene. From the industrial heartlands of Glasgow to the Ayrshire coast, this region offers the highest density of tracks in Scotland. It is home to the nation's only international-standard outdoor circuit and two massive indoor venues serving the Glasgow metro area.

The crown jewel of Scottish karting is Larkhall Circuit International (South Lanarkshire). Recently extended to 1,140m, this outdoor track is the "Silverstone of Scotland". It hosts the British Kart Championships and offers the public a chance to race on the same high-speed tarmac as future F1 stars. With a fleet of 390cc Sodi rental karts, it is the fastest and most technical track in the country, situated just 20 minutes from Glasgow down the M74. For indoor city racing, TeamSport dominates Glasgow with two distinct venues:
  • TeamSport Clydebank: Located in the west, this is a high-tech indoor track featuring electric karts. It is a multi-level circuit famous for its laser tag arena and "gaming" vibe, making it perfect for families and younger groups.
  • TeamSport Cambuslang: Situated in the south-east, this is the "driver's choice" for indoor racing. It retains petrol karts, offering the raw noise and smell of traditional motorsport on a massive 1km-long indoor layout (claimed as Scotland's longest indoor track).
Further south in Ayrshire, The Garage (Kilmarnock) provides a fantastic leisure option. This is a multi-activity centre where karting sits alongside bowling and adventure golf. The indoor track runs 200cc petrol karts and is ideal for casual groups and parties who want entertainment all under one roof.
