The undisputed flagship for the county is Herefordshire Raceway (near Weobley). Located in a secluded valley at Lower Hurst, this 600m outdoor circuit is a firm favourite with stag groups and petrolheads. It runs a fleet of powerful Twin-Engine Biz petrol karts (using 2x Honda GX160 engines), which offer significantly more torque and speed than standard single-engine rentals. The track is famous for its technical layout, featuring a mix of tight hairpins and sweeping corners that reward smooth driving. On the north-western edge of the county lies Kinsham Raceway (Presteigne). Situated right on the Herefordshire/Powys border, this is a massive 900m outdoor circuit originally built in 1990. It is a serious driver's track, featuring elevation changes, banked corners, and a fast tarmac surface. While it sits technically on the Welsh border (Presteigne), it is a key venue for Herefordshire residents, particularly those in Leominster and Kington. Important Note for Indoor Racers: There are no indoor go-kart tracks inside Herefordshire. If you need a weather-proof option for a rainy day or a children's party, you will need to cross the county lines:
  • East: JDR Karting (Gloucester) is the nearest indoor option for Hereford/Ross-on-Wye residents.
  • North: Teamworks Karting (Halesowen) serves the north of the county.
