One indoor electric track in Richardson
K1 Speed Dallas is at 677 West Campbell Road, Suite A, in Richardson. The air-conditioned venue has one challenging track with separate adult and junior electric karts, live lap timing and an onboard telemetry display.
The site opened in 2016 and also includes an arcade with billiards and air hockey, a Paddock Lounge and a meeting room. Those facilities support both walk-in visits and pre-arranged group events.
Junior and adult driver access
- Junior kart: the published minimum height is 48 inches, or 121.9cm.
- Adult kart: the published minimum height is 58 inches, or 147.3cm.
- No mixed races: adult and junior karts do not share the same heat or group package.
- Final approval: every driver is measured and must safely operate the kart; height alone does not guarantee access.
Walk-in racing and reserved groups
Ordinary arrive-and-drive racing does not require a reservation and runs against the live queue, with heats scored by lap time. Reserved group packages begin from the currently published minimum of eight racers and provide a set time, private racing and a structured event format.
Before you visit
- Expect a wait: online check-in can reduce registration time but does not turn ordinary arrive-and-drive into a reserved start.
- Plan junior timing: the location states that junior races do not run after 8pm on Friday and Saturday.
- Check private closures: group buyouts or special events can affect normal public availability.
- Separate extras: arcade play, food, league entry and meeting-room use are additional unless the selected package includes them.
