About Kinsmen Kart Club
Kinsmen Kart Club (KKC) is one of Northern California’s oldest and most respected grassroots racing facilities. Located on 20 acres of rural land just outside Dixon, it operates as a non-profit club dedicated to affordable family racing. Unlike commercial tracks run by corporations, Kinsmen is maintained by its members. It is a technical sprint track known for its "LO206" (4-stroke) community and its welcoming atmosphere for beginners learning the ropes of kart ownership.

The Racing Experience
- Practice Days:
- Members: Have access to the track 7 days a week via a gate key/code system.
- Non-Members: Are welcome on Saturdays and Sundays for a daily gate fee (approx. $40). You must have your own safety gear and vehicle.
- Classes: The club is a stronghold for Briggs LO206 racing, which is the most affordable class of competitive karting. They also host 2-stroke Shifters, TAG karts, and have a growing vintage kart contingency.
- Motorcycles: The track shares time with the two-wheel community. Mini-Moto and Supermoto riders frequently use the track for practice, so be sure to check the schedule to see if the day is split between karts and bikes.
Facilities & Logistics
- Amenities: This is a "rustic" facility. There are portable restrooms and limited pit amenities. There is no fuel, no electricity, and no food service on-site. You must come completely self-supported.
- Camping: Primitive camping (dry camping) is often allowed in the pit area for race weekends, usually for a small fee (approx. $10–$20).
- Location: The entrance can be tricky to spot; look for the "Kinsmen Kart Club" sign on Rio Dixon Road. The second driveway is typically the main pit entrance.
